The project brochure on HydroEcoNex
The international association of river keepers Eco-Tiras developed a brochure on HydroEcoNex, with contributions from other project partners (Institute of Zoology, University Dunarea de Jos Galati, Ukrainian Scientific Centre of Ecology of the Sea and Hydrometeorological Centre for Black and Azov Seas) The main purpose of this brochure is to inform the general public about the project. From this point of view, along with a statement of the project’s objectives, main activities, expected results and a brief description of the partners, the brochure also tries to answer the question: what are the challenges of the 2 Project 165: HydroEcoNex problem under study? This is especially important taking into account the current global discussion on the hydropower development on the transboundary rivers, with all its positive and negative consecuencies.
